About Angliss Children's Centre

Welcome to Angliss Children’s Centre, a small, community-based kindergarten where strong relationships and a sense of belonging sit at the heart of everything we do. We are deeply connected to our local community and take great pride in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where every child’s rights, wellbeing, and voice are valued. Child safety is central to our practice, and our team has thoughtfully developed a child safety and wellbeing statement that is shared openly with families and displayed within our service, reflecting our strong commitment to advocacy and trust. We believe every child has the right to an education that is free from bias and discrimination, grounded in meaningful relationships. Through trust and connection, our educators create a play-based curriculum that sparks curiosity, invites inquiry, and nurtures a genuine love of learning.

Our Leadership Team

Nicole Faulkner, Centre Director

Hi, my name is Nicole, and I’m the Centre Manager at Angliss Children’s Centre. My journey here began as a casual educator, before growing into a full-time lead educator, Educational Leader, 2IC, and now Centre Manager. I’ve been part of BPA for over 20 years, working across Phoenix Street for five years, Orama Street for twelve years, and now proudly leading Angliss. What I love most about this centre is the incredible educator team who work so closely together to achieve the best outcomes for every child, supported by a welcoming community of families who often connect beyond the centre, even spending time together at the park next door. We’ve also built strong relationships within our local community, particularly with Angliss House, which adds to the warmth and connection felt here each day. My passion lies in building genuine relationships with children, families, and educators, because strong relationships are the foundation of respect, trust, and a centre where everyone feels welcome and supported.

“Angliss ticks every box.”

“We were looking for a local, not-for-profit centre that truly puts children first. We are continually impressed by the dedicated staff and their strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing. It’s clear that our daughter is genuinely known, valued, and cared for. The educators provide so many opportunities for learning through play, and it’s heartwarming to see how thoughtfully they create and support each child’s individual goals”

“Angliss has held a very special place in our hearts.”

“We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having both our boys here, starting from the baby room through to the 4-year-old Kindergarten program. The staff have been nothing short of amazing, providing a safe and nurturing environment filled with warmth and fun. From a very young age, both boys have looked forward to their days, dragging their bags to the door with excitement long before they could even speak. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for helping our boys thrive and grow into the wonderful little people they are today, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice”
