Welcome to Aycliffe Drive Kindergarten, a small, close-knit neighbourhood kindergarten where children feel safe, supported, and known.
Aycliffe Drive Kindergarten is a single-room sessional kindergarten with a strong sense of community. Families value the warm, welcoming environment and the close relationships built between children, educators, and families.
The centre is led by an experienced Early Childhood Teacher who has worked at Aycliffe Drive since 2001, supported by a small and dedicated team of educators. In our most recent Assessment and Rating, the kindergarten was proudly rated Exceeding under the National Quality Standard.
Children learn through play in both indoor and outdoor environments, with time to explore, build friendships, and develop confidence as learners.
Small, neighbourhood kindergarten with a calm, welcoming feel
Experienced, long-standing educators who know each child well
Play-based learning that supports confidence, curiosity, and independence
Inclusive, respectful community where families feel supported
A free, funded kindergarten program designed to support children’s learning, confidence, and readiness for school through play-based experiences led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
Children learn through play in both indoor and outdoor environments, with time to explore, create, and follow their interests while developing social, emotional, physical, and language skills.
Our transition to school program supports children to build independence, confidence, and social skills to help them feel ready for a positive and successful start to primary school.
“I would love to recognise the wonderful care, support, and dedication to wellbeing shown by the educators at Aycliffe Drive Kindergarten. I cannot thank them enough for their incredible work in supporting both my children and myself… One of my children has hearing difficulties, another has a skin condition, and one of my sons has autism.
The educators have supported my family throughout my parenting journey and created a place where my children feel nurtured as they learn, play, and grow. They provide a fun, engaging environment where children can build friendships, create lasting memories, and enjoy a wide range of experiences every day.”
