Welcome to Epalock Crescent Kindergarten
Choosing a kindergarten is not just about days and times.
It is about trust.
You want to know your child will feel safe.
Seen.
Supported.
And free to be themselves.
At Epalock Crescent Kindergarten, children are welcomed into a calm, inclusive environment where relationships come first. From the moment families arrive, they are respected, listened to, and treated as true partners in their child’s learning.
Our program is play-based, thoughtful, and responsive. Children are given time to explore, revisit ideas, ask questions, and learn without being rushed. Through a balance of child-initiated play and intentional teaching, children build confidence, independence, strong social skills, and a positive sense of who they are.
We focus on the whole child.
Social and emotional wellbeing.
Communication and language.
Curiosity, creativity, and movement.
Children are supported to form friendships, solve problems, express their feelings, and take safe, age-appropriate risks. Learning is meaningful and connected to children’s interests, helping them grow skills for life, not just school.
Families are central to everything we do. Your knowledge, culture, values, and experiences matter. We actively invite families to be involved in the kindergarten year, whether that is through sharing traditions, attending events, or contributing to the learning program. Every family is different, and every child’s identity is respected and celebrated.
Our indoor and outdoor environments are designed to inspire exploration and discovery. Natural materials, open-ended resources, and sustainable practices encourage children to care for the world around them and develop a sense of responsibility and belonging.
Epalock Crescent Kindergarten is located within the new Epalock Children’s Centre, a purpose-built facility supporting the growing St Albans community. With modern learning spaces and strong links to local schools and support services, children are well supported as they prepare for their next stage of learning.
Above all, this is a place where children feel safe to be themselves, confident to try new things, and supported to grow at their own pace.
