Note: St Aidan’s Preschool is offering kindergarten programs for the current year. Families seeking kindergarten options beyond this year are encouraged to contact BPA Children’s Services for guidance and support in planning next steps.
Our preschool provides a high-quality play-based program which is implemented in a positive, caring and passionate environment. The children are viewed as successful, competent and capable learners who are given opportunities to construct their own learning of others and participate in decisions that affect them.
Our programming approach creates an atmosphere which encourages all children to experiment, challenge themselves, enjoy and develop relationships, grow together and build positive self-images. The program is developed and based on each child’s own individual needs and skills.
We believe in creating a collaborative partnership to educate children. Participation and contributions from families, the community, educators, and the children is highly valued and welcomed.
St Aidan’s Preschool is dedicated to quality outcomes for children and is committed to the rights of all children to feel safe and be safe, including the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, of children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and of children with disabilities.
Building on the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks, the preschool environment offers the children an opportunity to build on the skills they will require throughout their lives.
A play-based program that supports confidence, communication, and early learning in a safe, nurturing environment.
A free, funded program focused on building independence, resilience, and the skills children need for a successful start to school.
We help children develop the social, emotional, and practical skills they need to feel confident and ready for their first year of school.
