At Carmody Drive Kindergarten, you’ll feel it straight away. A calm, welcoming space where children are known, supported and encouraged to be themselves.
Our program is play-based and shaped with children, not just for them. Educators tune in to what children are exploring, then extend learning through thoughtful, intentional teaching and those wonderful spontaneous “aha” moments that happen in the middle of play.
We value families as children’s first teachers and we work in genuine partnership with you, sharing ideas, listening closely and making decisions together. We also celebrate diversity and create a culturally safe environment where every child and family can feel seen, respected and included.
Inside and outside, the learning environment is designed to invite discovery. Children can create, build, imagine, take safe risks, and connect with nature and living things. Sustainability is part of everyday learning, helping children develop care for their world and the confidence to be part of it.
Most of all, we’re here to help children feel safe, capable and proud of who they are, as they grow into lifelong learners.
