Enrolling with BPA is straightforward.
The steps depend on the program your child is attending, so start by choosing the pathway that applies to your family.
These programs follow the same registration process.
If your child is enrolling in childcare or an integrated kindergarten program, registration is completed directly with BPA. You do not need to apply through your local council.
Step 1: Submit an enquiry to BPA
Complete our online enquiry form or contact your preferred BPA centre.
We’ll confirm availability and answer your questions.
Step 2: Accept your offer
If a place is available, we’ll send you an offer directly.
You accept your place with BPA. No council registration is required.
Step 3: Complete your enrolment paperwork
We’ll request:
enrolment details
emergency contacts
medical plans (if required)
your child’s Immunisation History Statement (AIR)
A 16-week grace period may apply if you need time to obtain your AIR statement.
Step 4: Book your orientation visit
Meet the educators, explore the rooms, and support your child’s transition.
Step 5: Start with confidence
On your first day, our educators will support you and your child from the moment you arrive.
These programs are managed through your local council.
Sessional kindergarten places are allocated through central council registration systems. BPA does not manage the initial application process for these programs.
Step 1: Apply through your local council
Councils we work with include:
Brimbank
Melton

Each council has its own online application portal.
Step 2: Rank your kindergarten preferences
Select BPA kindergartens in your list of preferences.
Your council manages waitlists and offers.
Step 3: Accept your council offer
Once you accept your place, your council will notify us.
Step 4: Complete BPA enrolment paperwork
We’ll then send you BPA enrolment forms and orientation details.
Step 5: Attend orientation and start kindergarten
Your child will meet the educators, explore the room, and get ready for their first day.
