Westgrove Kindergarten

Hi, my name is Paul, and I’m the Nominated Supervisor, Educational Leader and teacher at Westgrove Kindergarten. I have worked in early childhood education for five years, including three as a registered teacher, and my entire teaching career has been with BPA Early Learning. Becoming a teacher was a childhood dream of mine, and after returning to study in my late forties, I discovered my passion for early childhood education and the joy of helping young children learn and grow. At Westgrove, our priority is making every child feel safe, welcomed and valued. We believe children learn best when they feel confident to explore, play, make discoveries and develop at their own pace. I’m proud to lead our small, passionate and experienced team, who work closely with families to understand each child’s individual needs and create a supportive learning environment. We also have a strong relationship with Westgrove Primary School, helping children build confidence and familiarity as they prepare for their transition to school. Outside of kindergarten, I’m passionate about cars and driving, and have been involved with the Motafrenz Car Club for over 20 years. Before becoming a teacher, I also served for more than eight years in the Royal Australian Navy.
