Welcome to Willis Street Kindergarten, a place where children are seen as capable, curious, and full of ideas.
Our days are built around play, with long stretches of uninterrupted time so children can truly settle in, imagine, test theories, and follow what fascinates them. Inside and outside, children have choices that help them build confidence, independence, and resilience, with educators close by to listen, guide, and extend learning through intentional teaching.
You will also feel the community here. We see kindergarten as an extension of home, and families are welcome to spend time in the program, share their culture, and be part of children’s experiences. Together, we create an inclusive space where every child’s voice matters, creativity is celebrated, and learning is shaped by children’s strengths and interests.
