About Brookfield Children's Centre

Welcome to Brookfield Children’s Centre, a place where children feel safe, welcome, and cared for. We aim to create a calm and friendly environment where children can feel comfortable, build confidence, and enjoy learning each day.

The centre has supported families in the Brookfield community for over 20 years. Many families return with younger children, reflecting the trust they place in the care, relationships, and consistency the centre provides.

Educators take the time to get to know each child as an individual. They work closely with families to support children’s learning, wellbeing, and development as they grow.

Our caring and experienced educators bring over 100 years of combined experience in early childhood education. Through strong relationships and thoughtful guidance, they help children feel confident and ready to learn.

Children’s safety always comes first. Clear routines and strong safety practices help create a calm and secure environment, including:

  • Consistent daily routines

  • Thoughtful supervision

  • Safe, well-maintained learning spaces

We offer childcare and kindergarten programs, with learning spaces that are:

  • Warm and welcoming

  • Designed for play and curiosity

  • Supportive of children’s learning and development

Brookfield Children’s Centre is part of a community hub. A Maternal and Child Health nurse and Elizabeth Morgan House are located on site, helping to support families and strengthen community connections.

We welcome families from all backgrounds. Culture and diversity are respected and celebrated through:

  • Inclusive practices

  • Family voice and participation

  • Shared traditions and experiences

Brookfield Children’s Centre is proud to support local families and looks forward to caring for children in the Brookfield and Melton community for many years to come.

Hi, I’m Jackie, the Centre Director at Brookfield Children’s Centre. With 20 years in early childhood education, I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing place where every child feels valued. I’ve been with BPA for over a decade and lead a dedicated team that puts children and families first. As a local mum of three, I understand the trust you place in us each day. Brookfield is more than childcare, it’s a place where children grow, cultures are celebrated, and families feel at home. Come in, say hello, and see what makes Brookfield so special.
